Abstract:

This consensus is generated from the overall 13 copies of this element in yerba mate, resultant from 7 insertional events, with mean 89.7% identity to consensus. Solely 6 copies are entire length and 9 has TSDs of 6, 8, 13 or 14 nts. Its consensus is 68.9% similar to SINE2-5_Car.
