Abstract: The genome contains ~10 copies of SINE2-1_VC that are ~99% identical to their consensus sequence. Its 75-bp 5' terminus matches tRNA-Thr-ACY. The SINE2-1_VC copies are flanked by ~10-bp TSDs.
