Abstract: Cre-1_FCy belongs to the ancient CRE clade of non-LTR retrotransposons. The sequenced portion of the genome contains four copies of Cre-1_FCy. This sequence was derived from sequence data produced by the US Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute http://www.jgi.doe.gov/ in collaboration with the user community.
