Abstract:
This consensus is generated from 30 sequences with 92-96% identity. This transposon shows 8-bp TSDs and 15-bp perfect TIRs, but it contains a sequence similar to some non-LTR retrotransposons such as Daphne-1_CTe and Daphne-8_CTe with ~66% identity. Thus, it is likely a composite transposon which is generated by insertion of a Daphne retrotransposon into a non-autonomous DNA transposon.
