Title:
Ancient DNA transposons from Drosophila.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 12(4), 412-412 (2012)
Abstract:
~95% identical to consensus. It is found from various Drosophila species including D.ananassae, D. biarmipes, and D. elegans. Thus it is an ancient Mariner element. This consensus sequence was derived from the data released in Genbank by the Baylor College of Medicine Human Genome Sequencing Center, prior to publication.
