Title:
Sagan, a new group of DNA transposons belonging to the Mariner/Tc1/IS630 superfamily.

Abstract:
This consensus is generated from 5 sequences with >97% identity. The 5' end of this consensus corresponds to an insertion site by another transposon, and the 3' end is the end of this transposon flanked by TA dinucleotide. Thus this consensus is likely 5'-truncated. Sagan is a new group of DNA transposons belonging to the Mariner/Tc1/IS630 superfamily. But there is an insertion between D and E in the encoded DDE-transposase.
