Abstract:
MuDRF is a new group of DNA transposons belonging to the MuDR superfamily. MuDRF encodes a protein including GCM DNA-binding and DDE-transposase domains. The conserved DDE residues are D426, D496, and E625. 9-bp TSDs. 315-bp TIRs. 3 copies in the genome with >99% identity. The exon-intron structure is predicted with Softberry FGENESH.
