Abstract:
This consensus is generated from 30 sequences with >93% identity. 5-9 bp TSDs. Related non-autonomous elements, named Shinagawa, are found from Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. An insertion of DNA transposon ~89% identical to DNA-AATT-1_CQ at AATT (1261-1264) is excluded from the consensus.
