Repbase Reports 9(7), 1346-1346 (2009)
Abstract:
Crack-1_SP is a non-LTR retrotransposon that belongs to the Crack clade, a sister clade of L2 and Daphne. Like in other Crack retrotransposons, the ORF1 protein in Crack-1_SP contains a domain similar to the central domain conserved in vertebrate L1 ORF1 protein.
