Title:
RTEX non-LTR Retrotransposons from the starlet sea anemone genome.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 9(3), 725-725 (2009)
Abstract:
This non-LTR retrotransposon belongs to the RTEX clade, a sister clade of RTEs. Contrary to RTEs, RTEX elements code for the ORF1 protein that contains the esterase domain, similar to ORF1 in some families of CR1 and L2. Its 3' terminus is composed of different microsatellites.
