Abstract:
The 5'-end UTR is different from that of L1-1_OP. This family (or L1-1_OP) could represent a chimera: the identity in the ORF2 and 3'-UTR region between L1-1_OP and L1-3_OP is ~95%, while the identity is 76% in the ORF1 region. This sequence was derived from sequence data generated by Broad Institute Mammalian Genome Project: American Pika.
