Abstract: This is an internal portion of the Gypsy2-VV LTR retrotransposon family from Vitis vinifera. Its individual elements are about 91% similar to their consensus. The internal portion is flanked by 95% identical LTRs, deposited as Gypsy2-VV_LTR. Target site duplications are 5 bp-long.
