Title:
Copia-2_NV - a family of autonomous LTR Retrotransposons from the starlet sea anemone genome.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 7(7), 382-382 (2007)
Abstract:
Copia-2_NV is a family of recently transposed retrotransposons. Copia-2-I_NV is the internal portion of Copia-2_NV flanked by the Copia-2-LTR_NV long terminal repeats. The consensus sequence is not complete and the polyproteins-encoding ORF is corrupted by mutations causing stop-codons and frame shifts.
