Abstract: Kolobok-N17_NV is a consensus sequence of a family of non-autonomous Kolobok transposons. The Kolobok-N17_NV transposon is characterized by ~40-bp TIRs and TTAA target site duplications. This family is composed of ~100 elements that are >10% divergent from the consensus sequence.
