Abstract:
Harbinger-N2_NV is a consensus sequence of a family of non-autonomous Harbinger transposons. This familiy is relatively old; its copies are ~10% divergent from the consensus sequence. The Harbinger-N2_NV transposon is characterized by 120-bp terminal inverted repeats and TWA target site duplications.
