Abstract:
Kolobok-1_CB is a consensus sequence of a family of autonomous Kolobok transposons that were active in the nematode genome in a last few million years. The Kolobok-1_CB transposon is characterized by 340-bp terminal inverted repeats, TTAA target site duplications, and it encodes the 418-aa Kolobok-1_CB1p transposase.
