Abstract:
DNAX1_CR is a family of nonautonomous transposons. The consensus sequence is less than 5% divergent from ~10 DNAX1_CR copies. Features of DNAX1_CRs include imperfect 13-bp terminal inverted repeats and 8 or 9-bp target-site duplications. Its termini are distantly repeated to those in TOC2.
