Title:
MARINERNA9_MD, a family of nonautonomous Mariner elements from M. domestica.

Repbase Reports 6(2), 107-107 (2006)
Abstract:
This sequence is probably a non-autonomous Mariner, based on 21 bp terminal inverted repeats, and TA TSDs. Average similarity to the consensus is ~84%. Shares similarity to part of MARINERNA4_MD - possibly derived from same autonomous element. Around 2000 copies in the Monodelphis genome. The consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
