Abstract:
A new transposon family from Barrel Medic, which lacks the transposase domain. It is close to another putative non-autonomous DNA transposon family, MUDRAV, though differences between these two families have been mainly due to A->T transversion in large. The sequence is flanked by 9bp TSD (TTAAT[A/T]ATA).
