COPIA4: Copia-type LTR retrotransposon from Medicago.

Abstract:
This copia-like element from Medicago truncatula has 2034 bp LTRs. There is a second ORF downstream of, and in the same orientation as, the normal gag-pol coding region. It potentially encodes a >620 aa protein that has no significant similarity to known proteins.
