Title:
piggyBac-N8_SP, a family of nonautonomous DNA transposons in the sea urchin genome.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 5(7), 186-186 (2005)
Abstract:
The genome harbors ~10,000 copies of piggyBac-N8_SP elements that are >90% identical to the consensus sequence. This transposon is characterized by imperfect 14-bp terminal inverted repeats (3 mismatches) and the TTAA target site duplications.
