Abstract:
The putative protein coding part of this element occurs as an uninterrupted ORF in the Monodelphis genome assembly. That specific sequence has imperfect terminal inverted repeats. The termini reported here are the consensus reconstructed from numerous copies; and have canonical CA-TG ends. The element is flanked by TA target site duplications. This entry was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
