Abstract:
Average similarity to consensus of copies is around 93% similarity. Like HAT1_MD, the sequence lacks the canonical CA-TG termini and 8 bp TSDs of hAT transposons, and may be incomplete. However, it has ~23 bp imperfect TIRs. The consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
