Abstract:
RTE-1_TP is a consensus sequence of the RTE-1_TPp family of RTE-like non-LTR retrotransposons. The consensus sequence encodes the 1106-aa RTE-1_TPp protein (pos. 869-4186) composed of the endonuclease and reverse transcriptase domains. The 3' tail is composed of the (CA) microsatellite.
