Title:
HATN1_CI, a family of nonautonomous hAT DNA transposons from the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3:(6) p. 108 (2003)
Abstract:
HATN1_CI is a family of nonautonomous elements related to the hAT superfamily. There are ~50 HATN1_CI elements in the C. intestinalis genome, they are 97% identical to the consensus. This element is a internal deletion derivate of the HAT1_CI autonomous transposon. HATN1_CI has 15-bp terminal inverted repeats (1 mismatch).
