Abstract:
GYPSY7_I is an internal portion of GYPSY7 endogenous retrovirus. GYPSY7's long terminal repeat LTR is listed in Repbase Update as GYPSY7_LTR. GYPSY7 is relatively old endogenous retrovirus; it is flanked by 10% divergent LTRs. Target site duplication is TACA. GYPSY7 is most close to BURDOC, their internal portions are 73% identical with each other.
