Abstract:
The partial coding region of this consensus (ORF bp 499-1212) is 60% similar to other transposases of members of the Tip100/Zaphod group of hAT elements; On average, copies are 5% diverged from the consensus. 8 bp target site duplications. Trillian named for its relation to Zaphod, the first recognized Tip100 branch DNA transposon in animals.
