A few young elements with surprisingly many deletions. Clear similarity to Copia-like proteins, but no full ORF. Very short LTRs. A third copia-like element is present currently with only one copy. Kopi1,2 and 3 are about 80% similar at the DNA level. Copies of Kopi2 are <4 % diverged from the consensus
