Abstract:
The product of ORF 121-1923 is 62% similar to the C-terminal part of the pol gene of TNT and RIR1 in Rice, and to other representatives of the Copia class of LTR elements. The consensus is 5' truncated.. Perhaps a dozen copies in Fugu, mostly as solo-LTRs (KOPI1_LTR). On average, copies are 1.2 % diverged from the consensus
