Abstract: The current DONG_FR2 consensus misses much of the 5' end and is 83% identical to bp 1891-3576 of DONG_FR On average, copies are 20% diverged from the consensus. DONG_FR2 may be ancestral to DONG_FR, though few intermediates are obvious in the Fugu genome. The consensus may be build of a variety of subfamilies.
