Abstract:
This consensus is generated from 4 sequences with >99% identity. Sagan is a new group of DNA transposons belonging to the Mariner/Tc1/IS630 superfamily. But there is an insertion between D and E in the encoded DDE-transposase. Sagan-1_LB shares several features with other Mariner/Tc1/IS630, such as TA TSDs and short (27-bp) TIRs. The exon-intron structure is predicted with Softberry FGENESH.
