Abstract:
~95% identical to consensus. TIRs are 117 bp long and composed by degenerate repeats. Related non-autonomous elements, named Shinagawa, are found in Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. The insertion of DNA-TA-8_AAe-like transposon around 610 is excluded from the consensus.
