Abstract:
Compare to Gypsy-18_SB-I, Gypsy-18A_SB-I contains extra ~5100-bp portion near to the 3'-end, encoding two extra proteins on the complementary strand, whose relatives are also found in other Gypsy LTR retrotransposons found in other plants. Gypsy-18A_SB-I_3p contains plant mobile domain (PMD) domain, which is also found associated with some MuDR transposases.
