Abstract: EnSpm-6_VV (Cactavine-6 in [1]) is virtually an autonomous element because its individual copies do not have an intact ORF due to premature stop codons and/or frameshifts. Individual copies are >95% identical to the consensus sequence. EnSpm-6_VV contains 13 bp-long TIRs which are flanked by 3 bp-long TSDs.
