Abstract:
DNA-8-1_DR is a nonautonomous DNA transposon. Its is characterized by 16-bp terminal inverted repeats and 8-bp target site duplications. It is expected to be a member of the hAT or P superfamilies. DNA-8-1_DR is a composite transposon, it contains a copy of TDR4 transposon (pos. 910-1142). DNA-8-1_DR elements are ~95% identical to their consensus sequences.
