Abstract:
This element may represent a Crypton-like DNA transposon. Its closest currently known relative is Crypton-1_NV. This element is present in ~100 copies in the sea urchin genome. Its termini may be incomplete and, unlike in Crypton1_NV, no clear TIRs were identified.
