Title: Helitron-N2_XT, a family of non-autonomous Helitrons from frog. |

Abstract: This transposon is usually inserted into A|TT target sites (no TSDs). Subterminal TIRs: pos. 3-14 and 1268-1257; a palindrome at pos. 1270-1289. The Helitron-N2_XT consensus sequence is 76% identical to the consensus sequence of the Helitron-N1_DR from zebrafish. Therefore, horizontal transfer was involved in evolution of these transposons.
