Abstract: There is only one complete full-length copy in the rice genome, which is 95% similar to the consensus. That copy has a possible 3 bp target site duplication. The consensus putatively encodes 1150aa and 593aa ORFs. This En/Spm element has imperfect 29 bp terminal inverted repeats.
