Abstract:
SINE2-4b_SP is a young subfamily of SINE2-4_SP (the consensus sequences are 77% identical to each other). The genome harbors several hundred copies of SINE2-4b_SP elements that are >90% identical to the SINE2-4b_SP consensus sequence.
