Abstract:
CR1-6_SP is a non-LTR retrotransposon that belongs to the CR1 clade. Copies of CR1-6_SP are ~3% divergent form the consensus sequence. CR1-6_SP encodes a 1027-aa protein (pos. 1778-4858) composed of endonuclease and reverse transcriptase domains. The 3' terminus is composed of the (GAAAT) microsatellite.
