Title: Rice non-LTR retrotransposon consensus. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 5:(2) p.42 (2005) |
Abstract: Average similarity to consensus 98%. Sequence contains ORFs for complete endonuclease and reverse transcriptase domains. The 3' is well-defined with a poly-A tail, with at least 15 copies of the 3'-most 4kb of the element occurring in the rice genome. The 5' end is not well-defined, and target site duplications could not be determined.
