Abstract:
An endogenous retrovirus that has decayed to the point that the 5' LTR boundary could not be determined. Thus, the internal region may be 5' truncated. The LTR sequence ERV25_MD_LTR occurs frequently adjacent to the 3' end of this internal sequence. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
