Title:
L1-5_MD, an old subfamily of L1 element from the opossum M. domestica.

Abstract:
A partial consensus of an L1 element in opossum, that has only ~5400 copies in the version 2 genome assembly. The copies are around 22% diverged from the consensus. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
