Title:
hAT-N11_CR, a family of nonautonomous hAT transposons from the green algae genome.

Abstract:
hAT-N11a_CR is a subfamily of hAT-N11_CR nonautonomous transposons. The hAT-N11a_CR and hAT-N11_CR consensus sequences are 84% identical. hAT-N11a_CR elements are flanked by 8-bp target site duplications and contain 15-bp terminal inverted repeats. This family is composed of ~100 copies ~98% identical to the consensus sequence. Some copies are identical to each other. Therefore, this subfamily may be still actively transposable in C. reinhardtii.
