Title:
MARINER16_CB - a family of nonautonomous mariner/Tc1-like transposons.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 4:(4) p.113 (2004)
Abstract:
MARINER16_CB genomic copies are >98% identical to the consensus. The Internal region distantly is similar to MARINER4_CB and BMMAR3. Translated similarity to known transposases, however, no element harbors a functional ORF. MARINER16_CB contains 32bp-long TIRs and is flanked by TA target duplications.
