Abstract:
Copia2-I_CR is an internal portion of the Copia2-CR LTR retrotransposon, whose LTR is deposited in Repbase as Copia2-LTR_CR. Copia2-I encodes a 1591 Copia2_CRp polyprotein (pos. 63-4835) composed of the C2HC zinc finger, protease, endonuclease, reverse transcriptase, RNase H. The PBS (pos. 1-14) is complementary to an internal portion of tRNA-Met.
