Abstract:
Copia1-I_CR is an internal portion of the Copia1-CR LTR retrotransposon, whose LTR is deposited in Repbase as Copia1-LTR_CR. Copia1-I encodes a 1627 Copia1_CRp polyprotein (pos. 435-5315) composed of the C2HC zinc finger, protease, endonuclease, reverse transcriptase, RNase H. The PBS is complementary to an internal portion of tRNA Met.
