Journal: Repbase Reports 3:(6) p. 113 (2003) |

Abstract: HATN6_CI is a family of nonautonomous elements related to the hAT superfamily. There are ~50 HATN6_CI elements in the C. intestinalis genome, they are 96% identical to the consensus. HATN6_CI has 15-bp terminal inverted repeats. HATN6_CI is characterized by the target site specificity, its copies are flanked by the gtcTAnac target site duplications.
