Title: HARBINGERN7_DR, an ancient family of Harbinger-like nonautonomous DNA transposons from zebrafish. |

Journal: Repbase Reports 2:(6) p. 8 (2002) |

Abstract: HARBINGERN7_DR copies are flanked by 3-bp target site duplications generated upon their integration in the genome. It has 14-bp terminal inverted repeats (1 mismatch) similar to other HARBINGERs. There are several thousand copies of HARBINGERN7_DR harbored by the zebrafish genome; they are ~13% divergent from the consensus sequence.
