DNA15TA1_DR, a nonautonomous DNA transposon from zebrafish.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 2:(5) p. 7 (2002)
Abstract:
This element is characterized by 15-bp terminal inverted repeats and the TA targets site duplications. Its classification is not certain yet, although it is expected to be a member of the Mariner/Tc1 superfamily. There are ~3000 copies of DNA15TA1_DR present in the zebrafish genome; they are ~91% identical with the consensus sequence.
